Voast

Think out loud.
Post in your voice.

Ramble, rant, riff. Voast turns your messy thoughts into X posts that sound like you.

No credit card · Built for iOS first

Built for founders who ship, not writers.

You've got plenty worth posting. Writing it eats the time you should be shipping.

Launch day

The product's live. You've got a week of launch posts to write and 50 customers to onboard.

Building in public

Every week has stories worth telling. Your feed's been quiet since Tuesday.

Milestones

You raised. You hired. You shipped v1. The moments worth a post are the first things off your plate.

How it works

  1. 1

    Record

Open the app, tap once, ramble.

  2. 2

    Refine

Voast drafts a post that sounds like you. Fix anything off with another voice note.

  3. 3

    Post

One tap to X. LinkedIn and more platforms coming soon.

90 seconds of voice notes became these three posts. No edits.

OK so today we shipped the CSV import thing. Finally. I've been sitting on this feature request for like four months and it turns out it was a three-day build, not a three-week build, I just kept overthinking it. Which, classic. Anyway we shipped it this morning and I've already had two customers email saying they moved like 10,000 contacts over in under a minute, which is cool because the old way was click, click, click, and you'd want to die. One of them, Sarah from that marketing agency, she told me she'd been waiting for this since she signed up in January. So, sorry Sarah. But also, there's a version of this where I keep saying no to features because they feel big and then they turn out not to be big and I'm leaving money on the table for months. I need to be better at prototyping this stuff in an afternoon before I write it off. Anyway. Tomorrow I want to post about the import thing, and also the whole "three-day vs three-week" thing because I think that's the more interesting lesson. And we're hiring a second engineer now so if anyone knows someone good at Postgres and Elixir…

Shipped CSV import today.

Two customers moved 10k+ contacts in under a minute this morning. The old flow was click, click, click, and pray.

We should've built this four months ago. Sorry, Sarah.

I sat on a feature request for four months because it felt big.

Turned out to be a three-day build, not a three-week build. I just never prototyped it.

Before you say no to something that feels big, spend an afternoon on it. Most things are smaller than they look.

Hiring a second engineer.

Postgres + Elixir. Early-stage. We ship fast and just had our best product week in months.

If that's you, or you know someone, reply or DM.

Why Voast

In your voice

Not a chatbot's. Your phrasing, your tone, your jokes.

Under 60 seconds

From thought to post, without the typing interruption.

Where you post

X today. LinkedIn next.

Why not just…

…write them yourself?

You should. You don't. The moments worth a post hit when you've got no keyboard and no time.

…use ChatGPT?

ChatGPT writes from prompts. Voast writes from how you actually talk. That's where your voice lives.

…assume your voice notes are too rough?

The ramble is where the specifics live. The names, the numbers, the details that make a post yours. Voast keeps those. It skips the "ums."
